Privacy policy

How Marram Consultancy collects, uses and protects the personal data you share through this website: enquiries sent through the contact form and applications to the consultant roster.

Who we are

Marram Consultancy is registered in Denmark (CVR 46574478) and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Themba Lewis, lead consultant, is responsible for it.

What we collect

Enquiries
Your name, organisation, email address and the message you send.
Consultant roster
Your name, email, location, profile or website link, languages, services, themes, regions and countries of experience, years of experience, roles, current organisation, availability, ways of working, links to your work, and what you tell us in the open questions.
Optional answers
Your usual day rate, and whether you have lived experience of displacement. You can skip both. We only use lived experience to recognise it as expertise when building a team, and only because you chose to share it.

We do not ask for ID documents, CVs, photos or financial details.

Why we use it

Enquiries
To reply to you and discuss possible work. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Consultant roster
To consider you for consultancy assignments and contact you when one fits. Our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). For lived experience of displacement, it is your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)).

We do not sell your data, use it for marketing, or make automated decisions about you.

Who can see it

Only Themba Lewis and, for a specific assignment, the Marram team members working on it.

If you agreed on the form, we may share your details with a client when proposing you for an assignment. We will tell you before we do.

We use these services to collect and store your data. Each is bound by a data processing agreement:

Tally
Runs the roster form. Based in Belgium; data stored in the EU.
Google
Stores the roster and our email.
Squarespace
Hosts this website and the contact form.

Where a provider handles data outside the EU, the transfer is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Enquiries
For up to two years after our last contact, unless we go on to work together.
Consultant roster
For 24 months. Before then we will email you to ask if you want to stay on the roster. If you do not reply within 30 days, we delete your details.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or restrict or object to how we use it. You can withdraw your consent to the roster at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

To do any of this, email contact@marramconsultancy.com. We reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.

Cookies

This website is hosted by Squarespace, which sets cookies needed for the site to work. Cookies that measure visits are only used if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change that choice at any time.

We will update this page if how we handle data changes. Last updated 18 October 2026.
